Residential Child Care Workers [England]

Spark of Genius operates small therapeutic residential homes for young people with Social, emotional and Behavioural difficulties. We also educate young people who cannot sustain a mainstream educational placement. In this we employ a 24 hour approach to the curriculum, providing continual support and guidance for our young people.

We are currently seeking experienced Residential Child Care Workers with a passion for working with young people.

Applicants should be committed individuals with the ability to provide an inclusive, inspiring, living environment for our young people. The position will involve working with small groups of young people aged 8-18, experiencing a variety of complex needs/parenting experiences. Candidates must have the experience or transferable skills for this role as well as an understanding of working with complex needs. Ideally candidates should have experience of working with children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. In line with meeting the Children's Homes National Minimum Standards you will be required to be registered or to be working towards a QCF 3 qualification within six months of employment.
