Senior Residential Child Care Workers [Scotland]

Salary Scale £27,500 Inclusive of set number of on-call
Spark of Genius Ltd is a high-quality provider of specialist care in small therapeutic residential homes and education throughout Scotland for young people with a diverse range of social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are currently looking for 2 Senior Residential Child Care Workers at our Residential House in Killearn.
Along with the Residential Manager and Assistant Manager you will ensure the effective and efficient running of the service, including ensuring staff engagement, development and performance in their contribution to delivery of this service.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Residential Child Care Worker (or 2 years in a related field and 1 year in childcare) as well as an SVQ 3 and/or SVQ 4/SQF 9 in Children and Young people and HNC/Academic equivalent. Ideally you will also be working towards SVQ 4 or SQF Level 9 Children and Young People, and /or a practice qualification in the Management Category or equivalent that meets SSSC requirement when in post.
As a requirement of this role, you will be required to register and maintain an appropriate registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
