Assistant Manager with Additional Responsibilities [England]

Salary Scale £32,000 Plus £2,400 per annum for additional responsibility enhancement

Spark of Genius operates small therapeutic residential homes for young people with Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in England. We also educate young people who cannot sustain a mainstream educational placement. In this, we employ a 24-hour approach to the curriculum, providing continual support and guidance for our young people.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager with Additional Responsibilities. This position will receive an enhancement for enhanced duties which will support the Registered Manager in undertaking the Service Manager overview for the 3 Services in the North East. 

Applicants should be committed individuals with the ability to provide an inclusive, inspiring, living environment for our young people. The position will involve working with small groups of young people aged 8-18, experiencing a variety of complex needs/parenting experiences. Candidates must have the experience or transferable skills for this role as well as an understanding of working with complex needs. Ideally candidates would have experience of Residential Care and/or Social Work although if you do not necessarily have the experience for the role, however, have the passion for working with our young people and feel you have transferable skills and qualities to do so, we would like to hear from you.
