We educate young people in our schools who cannot sustain a mainstream educational placement. We employ a 24-hour approach to the curriculum, providing continual support and guidance for our young people.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist the education team at our Primary school in Glengarnock to effectively support our young people to progress with their learning and make positive behaviour choices.

You will be required to work as part of a team, to create an environment, where young people between the ages of 11-16 who encounter social, emotional, behavioural and educational difficulties feel secure and can achieve their potential.

You should also have an ability to deal with difficult situations and make appropriate decisions in line with the policies and procedures of the learning centre, and be willing to undergo training as required.

Spark of Genius is committed to protecting and safeguarding the welfare of the young people we care for and any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory reference checks, medical questionnaire and Protection Vulnerable Groups Membership.

If you have applied previously and were unsuccessful, we would like to hear from you again if you feel you have gained new skills or experience.

If you do not necessarily have the experience for the role, however, have the passion for working with our young people and feel you have transferable skills and qualities to do so, we would like to hear from you.
